Best Experience Ever!
Misshock, 31-08-2022
This was the most amazing experience! This was my very first opportunity to snorkel and I was so nervous. Barry, the owner, was our guide. He was so informative and explained everything perfectly. He was patient and kind. He saw so many beautiful tropical fish, sea turtles, sting rays, jelly fish and one gentleman saw a sting ray. It was unlike anything I could have imagined. All of the staff were kind and welcoming. The gift shop had the most beautiful handmade items that were perfect souvenirs to take home and so inexpensive. I truly cannot wait to go back again. Thank you Barry for the most amazing first snorkeling experience! You and your staff were perfect!
You'll see multiple Sea Turtles!

The service was great, a real mom and pops type. If you are looking for a resort-style experience this is not the place for you. If you are looking for an authentic experience of Deadman's Reef and of the beach then this is a 10/10 experience. The people running the place are great and you will most definitely see at least one sea turtle swimming around, my wife and I saw 5 over the course of the day. We plan to go here every time we are back in Freeport!!
Awesome snorkeling!

We would return, amd snorkel here again!

Best snorkeling with the turtles and the large numbers of conch. Staff was very knowledgeable and engaging. Good time all around.

Incredible Experience

We were on a cruise and thecruise line cancelled our snorkeling excursion due to lack of people. Wequickly booked to the Paradise Code with Pickup. They picked us up and droppedus off right at debarkation location. When we got off, we asked where the Paradise Cove was at, and the crew there pointed us to the right location and then thevan with the logo pulled up. It was a short drive out to the cove and after ashort brief we were off in the water. We had our own snorkel but used theirfins and weight belt. The gear borrowed was perfect for us.

We swam out to the reef and saw a couple turtles that werefeeding on the grass on the way out. They allowed you to swim up to themwithout concern. The reef was gorgeous with lot of variety of coral and fish. Wewere able to see sting rays resting and even saw a reef shark in one of thevalleys of the reef. The kids (teenagers) loved just watching the fish andenjoyed the reefs. The younger kid was not sure about swimming the reef, so shespent time swimming around the turtles and saw at least 5 different turtles allfeeding. Then we swam over to the reef balls that are present, the amount offish and variety here was astonishing. This was perfect for our younger kid asshe was able to experience the reef life without having to swim out to the reefor beyond.

After swimming back in, we relaxed on the beach with theamazing views. The kids then asked about getting a coconut from one of thetrees, and we were able to buy one and they cut it open for them to drink thecoconut water. After they drank the water, they pealed and served the coconutto us. This was a truly unforgettable experience and we will be back next timewe are in Freeport. We were returned to the cruise terminal with time to grabsome souvenirs for the kids and make it back on the boat with plenty of time tospare. Thanks for such a great experience.
Easier than buying a cruise line excursion

Was easy experience and just what I was looking for. Less expensive than excursion and more personal.
Weather cancelled but refun was quick
denniskU4065VN, 01-01-2023
We didn’t actually get to go to Paradise Cove because of weather but they offered an alternative and a refund! So yes I would definitely book and do this again!
Our family really loved it.

This is a lovely place with lots to do for the day. We went here on excursion from our cruise port. The day pass allowed us to have access to kayaks, paddle boards, the beach, snorkel equipment. The pass also includes a limited lunch menu, but the selections are fine, burgers, hotdogs and snacks and drinks (that I can recall). We ordered off menu- choosing to try some conch and fish instead, so ended up paying for our lunch and using the lunch tickets for drinks and snacks for the kids. Everyone we dealt with was very nice. The only thing I would warn about is that the swim out to the reef can be arduous. It definitely requires a good swimmer and can take some time. Also, you need to be prepared to swim without standing or walking, so as not to destroy parts of the growing coral or touching the fire coral. This means keeping your body afloat, even when you need to rest or clear your mask or equipment. Once you make it to the reef, it is nothing less that incredible, but again the currents, waves and swells need to be accounted for. There are reef balls a bit closer placed there by the owner and are full of fish and sea life. I saw lots of fish and several sea turtles. In our case the water was cold for us, but on a warm day this place would be straight magical. The only complaint I could have is that the day went too fast. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone that is interested. We also had no trouble with transportation both ways- they picked us up and dropped us back off at our port with plenty of time to get some light shopping in and be back on our boat on time.
Great excursion while on a cruise stop
Susan_B, 23-12-2022
We took this excursion because our cruise ship’s excursions were full. We went snorkeling, saw sea turtles, tropical fish, and stingrays! The drivers were communicative and got us back to the ship on time! The snorkeling gear was in great shape. The only thing that would have been better is if the tide was higher, but we still had a great time.
Great tour guide and private Coach for our rookies!
guoyingz2022, 23-12-2022
Seeing sea turtles and stingray is the most satisfying thing! We missed the tour bus. So be sure to get off the ship once you arrive the port!
Beautiful Snorkling
Kim_B, 20-12-2022
Pickup from the port was organized and on time. The staff at Paradise Cove was friendly and helpful. The snorkeling was unbelievably beautiful. You will truly swim with turtles, rays and hundreds of fish in their natural environment.
Great place to spend the day!
Gabrielle_B, 09-01-2023
If you are looking for something to do in Freeport for the day, Paradise Cove is a great option. Aside from shuttling you to and from the cruise port, the staff at Paradise Cove are so friendly and welcoming. My boyfriend and I chose to spend the day snorkeling and lounging on the beach. If you eat at the bar, the cracked conch is amazing!
Good place to hang out on the beach.

Efficient pick up from the cruise terminal. Long wait to get checked in but they do take credit cards (not just cash). it is a very long swim / walk to the reef but we did see turtles and lots of fish. Stormy on our day so we left early with no issues.
You definitely want a ride out of the cruise ship terminal bc it is a long way to the beach (about 30min ride).
Great place for snorkeling
Gail_K, 03-12-2022
This is a location primarily for snorkeling. There is a small beach with chairs, but the focus is snorkeling. The owner is on-site and does a presentation about what you can see and where you should go and what you shouldn’t do. He has placed a large number of reef balls fairly close to the shore, which is growing coral and shelters a lot of fish. There is also a grassy area where you can find sea turtles and a reef which is farther from the shore. I stayed along the reef balls because it was somewhat windy and the water was choppy. (and I’m wimpy!) People who went to the reef saw a shark, barracuda, and several turtles. There is a snack bar and shaded building with tables. At the port, I wasn’t clear about where the shuttle would be because I didn’t print the email. FYI, they pick up at the Harley Davidson store, within the port shopping area. Short walk from the ship. Not 5 stars because the entrance into the water was rocky - an issue for my older body!
Nice, personable service....

Nice, personable service. Good food. Nice weather. The shuttle to and from Port was informative. Overall, just a really calm experience.
Swam with sea turtles
michelle_b, 02-01-2023
Great snorkeling and loved how it was not crowded. Don’t expect to picked up at the exact time you scheduled either way. If you can be flexible book it . We were 45 minutes late being picked up and about 30 minutes late on the return.
We were on a cruise with limited time. Luckily it all worked out and we didn’t miss the ship.
This is not a resort at all. A mom and pop little rustic area with great snorkeling.
We eventually saw several...
Steve_S, 25-01-2023
We eventually saw several sea turtles and a couple of stingray which was amazing, but we got there at low tide and did not have a good experience until the tide starting coming in a couple of hours later. I would suggest checking the tide charts before going and make sure that you don't spend your time there during low tide.
Mostly good
Rob M, 12-01-2023
First of all the driver, the turtle sanctuary, and visit to Hell was great. The private beach was a total disappointment. It was a tiny area, walled up above the water. Everything was expensive, including the food and drink. They charged for lounge chairs!! If there is an option for a different beach, take it. Private beach is not what you would expect elsewhere!!
Not worth it
mackean10, 08-01-2023
Lunch that was included was burgers and hotdogs. The instructor was very rude and very little details on what and how to snorkel. Don’t come here unless your professional at snorkeling. No help from staff with anything they let you fin for yourself even with kayaking.
