Great Authentic Experience

The tour guide, Hida, was knowledgeable and friendly. We toured the Maritime Museum, spent time at the Marketplace, experienced fresh conch at two restaurants, and traveled throughout the city with Hida informing us about the history and landmarks. We spent 6 hours plus and had many more stops to tour even after. I would highly recommend the tour!!

This was such a fun day! Hida the guide has lived here all her life and knows so much information! She took us all around town, showed us some amazing historical locations, along with a museum tour, the best local conk vendor, the Grand Bahamas brewery, and then ending at an authentic beach side fish fry.
My wife and I had an incredible time and recommended this 10 out of 10!

Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. Arrived on time and had nice car, plenty of water, etc. Really enjoyed the conch fritter experience with a local Bahamian showing us how to cook them etc. Entire tour was well done and enjoyable.

We loved our guide, Hida! She was always taking photos and was very knowledgeable about the town. She’s a local and knows everything about everything! We loved that it was just our group of us and not a big group. We drove around town most of the day making stops at different markets like Port Lucaya, which were great for souvenirs. You stop at another market for the Conch Frittas and although we didn’t get to cook them, we enjoyed eating the delicious legacy food as she told us how they are made. We didn’t go to the brewery and the perfume spot was permanently closed down due to a hurricane a few years ago, which was a bummer! We did tour the Maritime museum which was an additional $12/pp. We stopped at several gorgeous beaches and got all the best views! We all left feeling like we were family on the island.
