Fun-filled Tour

Our East End tour with Hida was everything we wanted it to be! We met her when we got off our cruise ship and for the rest of the day, she made sure that we saw everything that we wanted to see.

Hida drove us around, pointing out important buildings and told us about both historic and current events in Grand Bahama. We did some shopping, walking on Taino Beach, visited Garden of the Groves- where we grabbed some drinks for Gold Rock Beach, we drove around Millionaire Row where we saw incredible homes, then we explored the caves at Lucayan National Park, and we finished our tour by having a picnic and swim at Gold Rock Beach. Hida had prepared a homecooked lunch for us and she also picked up cracked conch for us to try.

We had a wonderful time, and 100% fully recommend touring with Hida!

My husband and I spent two days with Hida- one day touring the West, the other touring the East. Each day, Hida picked us up at the resort and brought us back--she even brought a cooler of water to keep us hydrated during the day.

The first day, we stopped at the brewery, toured the West and swam with the pigs at Crystal Beach, went snorkeling and swimming with the sea turtles at Paradise Cove, and had a great lunch at the beautiful and tranquil Teasers Tiki Bar in the West End, on Old Bahama Bay. Along the way, we watched how conchs are removed from their shells and stopped at a blue swimming hole only a local could tell you about.

On day two, we traveled through the East and saw the dolphins being fed, (we had already been shopping in Lucaya, so we didn't stop there again), went to Taino Beach and Banana Bay, Millionaire's Row, Lucayan National Park, the Garden of the Groves, and ate a delicious lunch (packed by Hida) on Gold Rock Beach.

Hida personalized our experience, even helping my husband look for a sand dollar (he collects them everywhere we go!) She shared the history of the island and people, bringing their experiences to life. Hida's car was clean, everyone sanitized frequently, masks were required. She personalized our experience based on what we were interested in and was thoughtful in paying attention to small details. She even took pictures of us, so we could enjoy the moments and each other. We highly recommend Hida and will be sure to meet with her again when we return in the Spring.

Hida was great. It was only my friend and I so she customized the tour based on what was interesting for us. We not only got to see some beautiful places, we also learned a lot about the history and the people. It was like touring with a friend after a while.
Go With Hida!

We spent the day on Oct 19, 2022 with Hida on her East End tour of Grand Bahama Island. It was informative and we learned some interesting facts about the island. The east end is still recovering from their last hurricane experience; that being Dorian in 2019. We were surprised that many places on the island have yet to recover from hurricane Matthew in 2016.
Hida is a friendly and kind person. We enjoyed our time with her very much. She fixed/provided a full lunch and we were able to try some local foods which we she went out her way to provide and we enjoyed. We hope to return in the future and would most definitely tour with Hida again!

Hida was really great! She showed us what we wanted to see! Best part was our cave adventure! She timed it so the sun was streaming in. Got great photos! Learned to make conch fritters with her friend Brenda! My Multiple Sclerosis kept me a bit tired but, a fab time was had by all! And I learned the medicinal plants! Loved it!!!!
A great way to spend the day and capture the stunning beauty of the East side of Grand Bahamas.
